MyTempah Cancellation & Refund Policy

September 11, 2026 by mytempah

At MyTempah, we understand that travel plans may change due to personal, business, or unforeseen circumstances. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy is designed to provide customers with clear and transparent information about their rights, responsibilities and the financial consequences of cancelling or changing a booking.

Because cancellation and refund conditions may differ between Service Providers, properties, room types, rate plans, promotional offers and booking dates, there is no single cancellation policy that applies to every booking made through MyTempah.

Before completing a booking, customers should carefully review the cancellation, amendment, refund and no-show conditions displayed for the selected booking. These conditions form an important part of the booking agreement and will be reflected in the booking confirmation.

Where a booking qualifies for free cancellation, the customer may cancel within the specified cancellation period without the applicable cancellation charge. Where a booking is non-refundable or subject to cancellation charges, the customer may receive no refund or only a partial refund, depending on the specific terms applicable to that booking.

If a customer cancels after the permitted cancellation period, fails to check in, or otherwise does not use the booked service, applicable cancellation or no-show charges may apply.

Where a customer is entitled to a refund, MyTempah will process or facilitate the refund in accordance with the applicable booking terms and the payment arrangements used for the transaction. Refund timing may depend on the Service Provider, payment gateway, bank, card issuer or other financial institution involved.

If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking or is unable to honour the reservation, MyTempah will use reasonable efforts to assist the customer in accordance with the applicable booking terms, which may include facilitating a refund, arranging an alternative accommodation or providing another appropriate resolution where available.

The cancellation and refund conditions presented to you at the time of booking take precedence over any general information contained in this policy, subject always to applicable law.

Normal circumstances MyTempah Support team will assist for any request made less than 2 days (less then 48 Hours) before check-in.

Please contact us at support@mytempah.com with your booking reference number. Our team will assist you as soon as possible.

Customers can communicate with Whatsapp Application on +6013 4519901.

  1. Cancellation Conditions

Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the Service Provider or accommodation, promotional or discounted rate, booking dates and duration, payment method, any other conditions specifically applicable to the booking.

The applicable cancellation conditions will be displayed during the booking process and/or stated in your booking confirmation.

Customers are responsible for reviewing these conditions before completing a booking.

  1. Free Cancellation

Where a booking is stated to be eligible the customer may cancel the booking within the specified cancellation period without incurring the applicable cancellation charge.

The cancellation deadline will normally be determined according to the local time of the relevant accommodation or Service Provider, unless otherwise stated in the booking conditions.

Once the free-cancellation deadline has passed, any applicable cancellation charges will apply.

  1. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain bookings, rates, promotional offers or special arrangements may be designated as non-refundable.

For a non-refundable booking, the customer may not be entitled to a refund if the booking is cancelled, modified, or not used, except where:

  • a refund is expressly provided for under the applicable booking conditions;
  • the Service Provider agrees to provide a refund or waiver; or
  • a refund or other remedy is required under applicable law.

Customers should therefore carefully consider the cancellation conditions before selecting a non-refundable rate.

  1. Cancellation Charges

Where cancellation charges apply, the applicable amount or calculation method will be disclosed during the booking process or in the booking confirmation.

Depending on the booking conditions, the cancellation charge may be:

  • a fixed amount;
  • a percentage of the booking value;
  • the cost of one or more nights;
  • the full booking amount; or
  • another amount specified by the Service Provider.
  1. No-Show

If you do not arrive at the accommodation on the scheduled check-in date and have not cancelled your booking in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions, the booking may be classified as a no-show.

A no-show may result in the forfeiture of part or all of the booking amount, depending on the applicable booking conditions.

Certain Service Providers may also cancel the remaining portion of a reservation following a no-show.

  1. Refunds

Where a customer is entitled to a refund, MyTempah will process or facilitate the refund in accordance with the applicable booking terms and payment arrangements.

Refunds will generally be returned using the original payment method, unless otherwise permitted or required.

The time required for a refund to reach the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, Service Provider and other parties involved in the transaction.

Any applicable cancellation charges, non-refundable amounts, service fees, taxes or other amounts that are expressly stated as non-refundable may be deducted from the amount otherwise refundable, subject to applicable law.

  1. Cancellation by a Service Provider

If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking, is unable to honour the reservation, or otherwise fails to provide the booked accommodation or service, MyTempah will use reasonable efforts to assist the customer in seeking an appropriate resolution.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable booking arrangements, this may include:

  • facilitating a refund;
  • assisting with alternative accommodation;
  • communicating with the Service Provider; or
  • facilitating another appropriate resolution where available.

The specific remedy may depend on the circumstances of the cancellation, the Service Provider’s obligations and the terms applicable to the booking.

  1. Booking Amendments

Requests to change a booking, including changes to:

  • check-in or check-out dates;
  • number of guests;
  • room or accommodation type;
  • guest information; or
  • other booking details,

may be subject to availability, rate differences, amendment fees or cancellation charges.

In some circumstances, a requested amendment may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking followed by a new booking.

Any applicable charges or additional amounts will be communicated where reasonably practicable before the amendment is confirmed.

  1. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, including events beyond the reasonable control of the customer, MyTempah or the Service Provider, special cancellation or refund arrangements may be considered where permitted by the applicable booking conditions or agreed with the relevant Service Provider.

Any such arrangement is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not automatically create a right to a refund unless provided for under the booking terms or applicable law.

  1. reviewing the cancellation and refund conditions before making a booking;
  2. ensuring that the booking information provided is accurate;
